The new Thus Defiled opus “Daemonspawn” will be in all good stores and available for download late February 2007. Advance web orders will be taken through Shadowflame from January – this will be your chance to get the album before it appears in the shops! Advance orders will ship 3 weeks before it hits the shops.
The mastering of the forthcoming Thus Defiled opus 'Daemonspawn' has almost been completed. The mastering engineer is none other than the metal legend James Murphy, who has displayed his immense talents in bands such as Obituary, Death and Testament. As soon as the mastering is 100% complete we will be able to get an official release date arranged.

There are very few albums that leave such a deep impression. DesolatioN have in 'The Stone Oracles' created a pure masterpiece; an incredible and bewitching symphony to truly enrapture the soul. An album with a dark and brooding edge that not only appeals to fans of melodic black metal but equally finds its place next to progressive luminaries such as Opeth and Dark Tranquility. This is the closest a UK band has ever come to rivaling such masters in melancholic, atmospheric songcraft. The quality of the songwriting and playing are outstanding, and the solos are literally breathtaking.

Thus Defiled fly to the USA to begin recording their next album 'Daemonspawn' throughout the month of April at Noise Farm studio in Texas. The album features backing vocals from Sakis of Greek legends Rotting Christ.

Shadowflame sign the UK black metal legends Thus Defiled
October 1st - SFP001 Thus Defiled 'Weeping Holocaust Tears' released.
Thus Defiled are one of the oldest and most respected Black Metal bands from the UK. This is their first studio album in 6 years, and will build on the success of their now legendary cult releases in the mid '90s - 'Through The Impure Veil Of Dawn' and 'Wings Of The Nightstorm'.
Thus Defiled were also voted 'Best unsigned band' on the strength of their 'Fire Serpent Dawn' promo CD by the readers of Terrorizer magazine in 2002 - an instant return to form after many years of silence due to line-up problems.
